The court measures 13.4 x 6.1 meters (about the size of a badminton court). Net height is 1.52 meters for men and 1.42 meters for women. The ball weighs around 170 grams and is hollow. Traditionally it was hand-woven from rattan, but since the 1980s synthetic plastic balls have been used.
