Pattaya Street Guide: Main Roads, Sois & How to Get Around

Runs from Sukhumvit on the inland side down to Beach Road at the bay. The Northern Bus Terminal sits on this road. Big intersection at Dolphin Roundabout where it meets Beach Road.

Palm-lined. One way. From Dolphin Roundabout down to Walking Street and Bali Hai Pier. By day it's promenade, beach chairs, jet ski operators. By night: red light district with dozens of freelancers. Tip: Don't make eye contact if you're not interested.

Parallel to Beach Road, one block inland. One way. Most of the mid-range hotels sit, where the malls anchor, and where the Soi system officially branches off. 1 starts at the north, Soi 16 ends at the end of Walking Street.

Parallel to Second Road, one block further inland. Starts at Central Road. Two-way. Cheaper hotels, lots of bars, food spots, nightlife venues.

Runs parallel one block further inland again. Two way. Newer hotels like Arbour, bigger condo blocks, less foot traffic.

East-west spine. Two way. Connects Sukhumvit to Beach Road.

Runs east west, Sukhumvit to Walking street. Biggest 7-Eleven.

Connector down to Jomtien. Two way.

East-west across South Pattaya. Two way. Famous for Thepprasit Night Market.

All the way down toward Na Jomtien. Two way.

Parallel one block inland. Two way. cheaper accommodation, most of the local Thai restaurants, and the long-stay scene.
