Bus Tips

✅ Do:

  • Choose VIP for overnight (worth the extra ฿200)
  • Bring jacket (AC is FREEZING)
  • Bathroom before boarding (bus toilets are... not great)
  • Eat before (bus stop food is expensive/basic)

❌ Don't:

  • Trust the "10 hour" estimate (add 2 hours)
  • Expect Wi-Fi to work
  • Leave valuables in overhead

Tip: For long distances, trains are more comfortable than buses. For places trains don't go (Phuket), buses are fine.
