About Thailand Trip OS

Thailand Trip OS is your unfair advantage, your short cut, your fast track – to become the smartest farang on the plane. Skip years of research and begin your journey with a clear direction, valuable wisdom and the great feeling that you've been there before. It's the equivalent of 800-1000 PDF pages full of Thailand insider knowledge compressed into a membership website. Think of it as a secret blog behind a paywall.

Meet Tim Travel Taste

Hey! I’m Tim, Thailand is the love of my life.
I’ve been to 38 countries and survived robberies in Rio de Janeiro, police protection in Guatemala, and constant surveillance in North Korea. Born in Germany in 1979, I grew up in Munich, lived and worked in Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Essen, Berlin, Los Angeles (USA), and Palma de Mallorca (Spain). I’ve spent more than 20 years in mainstream media—and 1000+ days in Thailand. Now I help Thailand visitors enjoy perfect trips.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different to the Notion Equivalent?

Well, I received a lot of feedback that people would have loved to buy my Thailand Trip OS Notion Site, but were too scared of Notion. One alternative would have been an Ebook. I tried. Got halfway through and hit 279 pages. No maps. Just text. The full guide would have beeen 800-1000 pages—a loooooong scroll. A phonebook, not a travel guide. That’s why Thailand Trip OS exists. Same content. But you click directly to what you need instead of scrolling through a novel. Plus: It's a living knowledge base, I will update it – when signing up, you agree to receive Tim Travel Taste's newsletter (including Thailand Trip OS update notifications).

Why is this cheaper?

The Notion Site is for planners who want full control — you own it, customize it, use the built-in tracking and calculator tools. It's the power-user version. The Membership Site is for everyone else — just log in, click what you need, done. No setup, no learning curve. Lower price, lower friction.

How do I use it?

I recommend clicking the start here page. There's the Table of Contents where you can easily identify your best starting point. These sections include Guides, Lists, Itineraries, Maps.

“I've already spent 40+ hours researching. Why would I pay for this?“

That’s exactly WHY you need this. You’ve got 47 browser tabs open. Contradicting infos everywhere. One Reddit post says Chiang Mai is unmissable, another says it’s boring. You’ve watched the videos, read the blogs, and you’re MORE confused than when you started. This isn’t more information. This is the end of your research. Everything filtered, tested, and organized so you stop second-guessing and start booking. One guy told me: “I just developed analysis paralysis.” Another said: “It was so overwhelming and confusing and frustrating.” Sound familiar? This fixes that.

“Can't I just find this stuff for free on YouTube?“

You can find information for free. What you can’t find is implementation. My YouTube videos tell you WHAT to do. And HOW. But Thailand Trip OS not only gives you maps you can actually use, itineraries you can actually follow, and tools that calculate everything for you. I put evry single booking link directly into the itineraries: tours, domestic flights, restaurants reservation, ferries, vans, buses. Click + book. Free content = “Koh Samui is the best.” Trip OS = Here’s the exact route, the exact hotels, the exact spots on a map you open on your phone. You don’t need more videos. You need a plan.

“Is this just influencer-trash?“

I get why you’d ask. I can’t stand the woo girls out there for selfies and likes telling you what you “absolutely can’t miss” either. This isn’t sponsored. Not sanitized. Not “10 MUST-SEE temples!” garbage. This is 12 years of trial and error. $100k spent figuring out what actually works. Including the stuff other creators won’t tell you because it doesn’t get brand deals. As one guy told me: “Your content does not feel like that. It feels more honest and like actual condensed advice.” That’s what this is.

“I'm only going for 7-10 days. Do I really need all this?“

Especially if you only have 7-10 days. Short trips mean every wrong decision costs you more. Book the wrong area? That’s a wasted day. Choose the wrong route? You’re spending half your trip in transit. One client planned 11 flights in 18 days. His wife’s ankles were still swelling from their last over-packed trip. He said: “My wife did not enjoy because of how much we were packing in.” Short trip = zero room for mistakes. This prevents those mistakes.

“Is this info actually current? Thailand changes fast.“

I live this. I’m there multiple times a year, not reminiscing about a trip I took in 2019. When I say “I just spent 60 days testing what works”—I mean recently. Not five years ago. Plus: All future updates are included (you need to sign up for the built-in newsletter and stay a subscribed and paying member). When something changes, I will send you a message – a real newsletter.

“I'm traveling with my wife/girlfriend. Is this just for solo guys?“

Nope. There are actually more itineraries that can be done by everyone (women, couples, …). Pace recommendations so you don’t pack too much in. Spots that aren’t awkward to visit together. I gave my best to make farang ladies happy. One client’s wife “did not enjoy” their last trip because he over-planned. He booked a call specifically so “she’s part of this” and he doesn’t repeat that mistake. This prevents the “your wife will never let you plan a trip again” scenario.

“I've been to Thailand before. Is there anything new here for me?“

Depends. Have you: Been to the northeast (Isaan)? Found the street food spots locals actually eat at? Tried the routes that skip the tourist traps? Used AI tools to calculate costs and plan logistics? If you’ve done all that, you probably don’t need this. If you’ve been 3 times but still only know Khaosan Road and Patong Beach… yeah, there’s stuff here for you.

“Why should I trust you over the other Thailand 'experts'?“

Because I tell you when something sucks. Chiang Mai? “The most boring city in Asia.” Certain hotels? “Basically a brothel.” Popular tourist spots? “Not worth the hype.” I’m not trying to sell you a dream. I’m trying to prevent your nightmare. My content isn’t sponsored. When I say something is good, it’s because I’ve actually been there and it didn’t disappoint. But I want to be honest … Disclaimer: Of course I use affiliate links. If you book something via these links, I will earn a commission at no additional cost for you. One client said it best: “We have no clue what we’re doing—that’s why we booked this with you.” That trust isn’t bought. It’s earned through honesty.

“How do the AI Tool work?“

The template includes links to my 14 custom-engineered “Vibe-Coded” AI Tools. You can open 4 of them directly in ChatGPT (free), the other 10 open in any web browser.
