- Budget option

### Bus Types

#### ****VIP 24 Seats**

- Only 24 seats (vs 40-50 normal)
- Huge reclining seats
- Blanket, pillow, snacks included
- Toilet on board
- Cost: ฿800-1,200
- ****Best for:** Overnight trips, comfort

#### ****VIP 32 Seats**

- 32 seats
- Good recline
- Blanket/pillow
- Toilet
- Cost: ฿600-900
- ****Good middle ground**

#### ****1st Class**

- 40 seats
- Moderate recline
- AC
- Cost: ฿400-650
- ****Decent budget option**

#### 2nd Class

- 50+ seats
- Basic seats
- AC (usually)
- Cost: ฿300-500
- ****Very budget, not recommended for long trips**

### Bus Tips

#### ****✅ Do:**

- Choose VIP for overnight (worth the extra ฿200)
- Bring jacket (AC is FREEZING)
- Bathroom before boarding (bus toilets are... not great)
- Eat before (bus stop food is expensive/basic)

#### ****❌ Don't:**

- Trust the "10 hour" estimate (add 2 hours)
- Expect Wi-Fi to work
- Leave valuables in overhead

**Tip:** For long distances, **trains are more comfortable than buses**. For places trains don't go (Phuket), buses are fine.
